Terms of use

SouthFin is an online accounting service supplied by Southern Direction CC, registration 2003/003199/23, email hello@mysouth.co, telephone (+27) 12 994 4070, website https://www.mysouth.co/. These terms are given under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 and South African law.

You must be 18 or older and able to bind your company. By creating an account you agree to these terms, the privacy notice, the cookie notice, and the refund policy. One named license is one person who may sign in to that company’s books. Only one active sign-in is allowed at a time. Books for that company are unlimited. You are responsible for who you invite, for the accuracy of the records you store, and for lawful use of the service.

Evaluation lasts 30 days unless we agree otherwise in writing. Paid access lasts 30 days (monthly) or 365 days (yearly). If you buy again before the term ends, the new term is added onto the remaining days. Payment is a one-off charge through Netcash (Rand) or PayPal (US dollars). It does not renew automatically.

Access to the books is suspended when the evaluation or paid term ends until you buy licenses or we extend access. We may also suspend access for unpaid terms, abuse, unlawful use, or legal risk. Your data remains yours. We are not your accountant; you remain responsible for tax filings and statutory records.

Do not share sign-in details, attempt to break the service, store illegal content, or use SouthFin to harm others. We may remove access that puts the service or other customers at risk.

We are not liable for lost data, lost profits, or downtime beyond a refund of unused prepaid fees as set out in the refund policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act that cannot be excluded.

South African law applies. Contact hello@mysouth.co.
